Manfred Brunner
Viennese humour. Stories from real life. And plenty of Schmäh.
Unmistakably Viennese. Completely himself.
Comedian, cabaret artist, entertainer and author Manfred Brunner finds comedy where others simply see everyday life.
Manfred Brunner does not need an invented stage character. On stage he is first and foremost himself — spontaneous, self-ironic, observant and unmistakably Viennese.
People and their peculiarities, relationships and the small absurdities of everyday life provide the material. Stand-up, cabaret and storytelling come together with direct audience interaction, meaning no two performances need to feel exactly the same.
Manfred is also an author. His Viennese-dialect readings turn stories into live evenings between literature, storytelling and cabaret.
